Artist Bio

My creative process is deeply rooted in exploration and experimentation. With a focus on mixed media, my work often blends traditional techniques with contemporary practices, allowing me to push boundaries while maintaining a connection to my artistic origins. My pieces range from abstract landscapes to intimate portraits.

Having spent decades honing my craft, my art is a reflection of both my personal journey and my surroundings. I have studied both directly and indirectly under the following contemporary artists:

-Kate Zambrano - directly via mentorship

-Tim Rees - directly via in person at Palette & Chisel in Chicago

-Sean Cheetham - directly via online courses

-Bo Bartlett - indirectly through Alyssa Monks course catalogue

-Alyssa Monks - directly via New York Academy of Art and course catalogue

-Karen Lebergott - directly via Lake Forest College

-Tom Denlinger - directly via Lake Forest College
